Can you break these into organized information about each planes please?

1) plane name and which nation?
2) informaiton/data
3) blueprint
4) color blueprint (color profile)

At once you do that for each planes in that huge list, I willl start putting these organized information into my list. I alway intend to keep my list very organized.

Hawker Hurricane IIA/IIB Far East Field Mod: basically a IIB without the two outer .303s in each wing, giving an armament of eight .303s rather than twelve. Somewhat better climb rate and manoeuverability than the IIB due to lower weight. Fairly simple mod I think, though it would require its own slot.

Whoops sorry, this is supposed to go to the Allied experimental planes thread, my mistake! So please post it there!

The country is Belgium, the planes are Renard R-36, R-37, R-38 and R-40 - i keep them together because they're pretty much the same airframe fitted with different engines (Hispano for R-36, Hercules for R-37 and Merlin for R-38; R-40 is same as R-38 but with pressurized cockpit for high altitude). So if someone decides to make this mod, they all share about 80% common components so doing them all at once would make sense.

Radoye, I organized and added your aircraft information to the Allied WWII experimental and 'what if' 1946 list under Belgium nation. So check them out and see if I got anything right please.

Yeah, seems OK, thanks for pointing out my mistake there

(You probably noticed i LOVE these obscure minor nation planes - more to come!)

Excellent... This is your chance to bring a lot of minor planes to surface. They shall be no longer being 'less known' but becoming more known aircraft among IL-2 1946 community one day. So keep bring them up and I will add them to the list. I also am anxious to learn more about different nation's aircraft from around the world which I have not known nor learned much about yet!

- This baby is VERY important and not having it in the game leaves a gaping hole. I knoe people are more attracted to late war uber-machines but there are many pre-war and early war planes we simply need to have and Peashooter is one of them.

Well for one thing you don't need to post in each and every one of your threads.....

I fixed it. I was trying to keep my thread back to the top for the sake of community.

Well helping the community and wanting to help the community are different things.

While all of these blueprints and side views help a bit, they only help so much. Most of the referenced work is in the Loadouts and FM. Which none of those planes have proper info for.

When i modder needs plane info, they will ask for help. Right now everyone is busy with something. So none of the requests will be getting done, and even when our current projects are done, we have others lined up to do. Its up to the modder which plane he wants to work on. Thats what will make it a good mod and not just a mod. We do not get paid for any of this. So why work on something of which we have no interest for?

I see you really want to help the community, but if everyone wants to help, then answer the call when a modder ask for help. I have made a couple of threads asking for help, and have gotten less than stellar answers. Then days later i a see a thread whining about something i am working on and they do not help with it.

You have made a nice plane catalog, and its put together nicely. But we need more info than just a small blueprint and a wikipedia summary...

For example.

Cockpit pictures, Various power settings used, Max manifold pressure, max prop RPM, Prop type, engine power, heights to engage supercharger and/or change supercharger, speeds at various altitudes, max allowable speed, fuel consumption, climb rate at various alts, weight with max load, weight empty, turn rate, weapon loadouts, damage resistance, etc....

There is alot needed for a proper plane. You cannot guess on alot of these.

Then you may not fully understand one thing. Sometime to do something, you have to take small step a time. And this is much better than just doing nothing at all.

In case, if you have not noticed, I am starting to do more things than just this list. I added alot of reference and blueprint which is a start. Then I began writing theories to find best 'predicted' flight model for 'what if aircraft'. My steps will be taken from time to time when I have a free time from my unversity studies.

Its about taking small steps a time. However, I thank you for writing some of your points where it also gave me idea of what I will be doing with my threads, in order, to expande it further. I am very proud of my thread because it actually made community doing sometihng instead of just sitting and requesting for aircraft... Then doing nothing. With my threads like this, the people actually research and sent me alot of basic information needed by modders.

Finally, just like I once said, "It never hurt to be at least open-minded when it come to seeing problems and find many different solutions to it." And one more thing, If you want any further discussion with me, please sent PM me instead of posting here because I dont wish for this thread to start going off topic.

Wink

I do not want to further this in this thread, but i feel this next point needs to be seen.

I do understand your reasoning, but people are getting this simple research to a point and then stopping. Anyone can do that basic info. We modders do it all the time. What really it really needs is that extra data, which takes literally weeks to find it all. Its like helping the construction worker digging a giant hole by scraping off a inch layer of his hole, and say, "i started it for ya!" You outlined the hole for us, and scraped off that top layer, but alot of work is still ahead of which we will have to do.

Your threads are a step in the right direction, but you need more solid info and less "guesses" Priority should be on the ones with the most performance info, and leave the xplane theory for later when more modders come. Ones who want to make these exotic planes.
