I would like to install Your fantastic new Aircraft to my Il-2 1946.

Because I know that I need the oatch 4.08. for my game first I tried several times to patch ma game. I followed the Intructions and extracted the Patch to my c:\\Programme\Ubisoft\IL2 FB Dedicated Server Folder.
But when I started the Game the splash screen says that I run the version 4.07.
I tried to install the IL2 FB Dedicated Server - Folder directly in the Il-2 Folder --> that changed nothing. Then I extracted the files directli in the IL-2 Folder -- that changed nothing

What is my fault ??

After that I tried to install the Spitfire I to my game:

first I installed the mod activator 5.2
then I installed the Wrapper
after this I installed the installer (choosed the Mod-Activator)
the I installed the Aircraft

but I can not find the Spitfire Mk.I anong the Airplanes !


What is my fault ? Pleeeaaase help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, Post in the right section

Also the game core folder should technically be:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

Not:

c:\\Programme\Ubisoft\IL2 FB Dedicated Server Folder

And is it Il-2 Sturmovic 1946? Cause Forgotten battles wont work.

Now...if the Patch wants to install into the Dedicated Server folder.....obviously you have the wrong patch! Do NOT use the dedicated server, use the normal 4.08m!

But where can I found the "normal" 4.08 Patch. I foundonly the dedicated server Patch ???
