G;day , well this is the area for beta mods discussions yes?.
OK. NOW my QMB plus, One issue I am not sure about. FOR anything to be seen as a selectable mission in QMB it needs to show as a "QUICK" file, . BUT, ALL the mission files in QMB plus etc are MIS files. SO QMB will not read these files ALSO my QMB+ doesnt save in the QMB+ "QUICK" folder but saves in the IL2 1946 MAIN Quicks folder. notice the difference between Quick and Quicks.
folder. I cannot for the life of me FIND ANY of the missions with planes already flying about in it,
DO I have to add in my own planes? I choose a map then one of the settings, look in "LOAD" but fnerrrr Nothing. The Scenery in the Maps are fantatstic, just this one pain in the 6 naggling problem about getting the missions to load with pre planes and set missions already in it.
I have tried to re name a heap of the supplied QMB+ .MIS files as .QUICK BUT still NO GO.
I have also stuck a copy of the QMB+ Quick folder in every place I can think of, even going into the folder and pulling out ALL the stuff inside it and spreading it about but still no good. As I am using the new installer I know NOT to place it in the files folder BUT in the MODS folder, and to do away with the filelist as we dont use that anymore.
if someone has the answer and a fools guide to using QMB + so to be able to use the missions given to us I would be very happy. SOme of the directions given are a bit confusing and presume an intelligence I do not own. LOL.
