Hi, there are many planes in this game that can have these canopy holes and in some can be even demaged instruments (I don't remember now if it even demages its funcionality or only the glass which is covering them) like in Bf-109s.
I don't know if it is error that I don't have it on my spitfires but I think no.

So is it somehow possible to have these on spitfire? Is it already modded or if not can somebody mod it?

It’s already there. But for some reason player is dead before can see them. Happens every time . . .

Seriously tho, im sure I have seen damaged instruments in the MXIX

hmm it is possible that u saw that because I saw a picture of spitfire's demaged instrument in some installation folder but more important for me are holes in canopy and that I couldn't find anywhere.

I was trying to compare Spit and 109 in it. I set a B-17 against me and when I was flying 109, it gets those holes after a very few bullets but spit never (always blew up after a while - of course I wasn't trying to shoot him down )

I didn't try Mk IX so I'll try it if I get at least that instrument demage.

Do you know where is a file for canopy if something like it exists? For example for Bf 109's. If it can be done only with drawing some holes in some picture of clear canopy it would be very easy.

And Avala u said that it is already there but was there a mod for it or was it there from the begining? If it is a mod I might not have it because I don't have Unified installer.

It is there from the begining. Name of the file is XGlAssHoles.tga.

Ok I ran out of ideas. I tried to replace the files that i fought that should have something with glass in SpitMkI folder for files that I found in folders of others planes on which these glass holes work but nothing happens.

Which fles are important for glass holes? I found these files which I think that have something to do with it:

XGlassDamage1-4.msh
XGlAssHoles.mat and .tga
Glass.mat and .tga
Glass2.mat
glass_pricel.tga
glassholes2.mat and .tga

Most of these files I found in MODS folder but I did't find any original files for planes that weren't added with mods for example for Bf-109 G 6. Are there any originals files like these?

Yes, that is all the names of original files. Only XGlAssHoles.tga is for buletholes that we see in game (for Spitfire). I think that problem for late display of holes on glass in damaged plane is coding in game. That’s how it is just programmed.

Hmm I see. It's a pity. Well, it could be nice to have it on Spits too, but it is not a thing without is this game unplayable, so let's hope that in SOW it will be made right
