Would anyone be interested in making a V2 and launch site for a ground target? Even better would be if it could have a launch timer and rate of launch like the current V1. Even better would be if it had the one ton (or tonne?) payload of high explosive :twisted:
A ground target makes sense. The other doesn't really. I don't think it would be possible to model an out-of atmosphere suborbital ballistic trajectory, besides there was not possible to intercept a V2 - so what's the point?
(And we already have bombs way bigger than 1t anyway...)
there are V2 ground objects in game, check your FMB.
Nice if the size of it could be corrected - it is way to smal by now....

for ground target you can hide a mortar team or anything targetable underneath the v2. I do this when I want to make buildings the target (put a traincar inside and set it as the ground object that triggers success).
actually, operating the V2 meant fuel trucks, towing vehicles, maybe an occasioanl radio truck... so there is enogh to count hits on to define a mission goal.
it is a bummer that the V2 itself does not count but it is easy as it is. and timing the destroying of ground objects is also easy, there is a field for that in FMB target settings.
on M4T is a template, using some other map (not sure which) as a penemunde standin, with a big setup as the penemunde V2 test base. a lot of stuff to bomb on this map.
