If I remember correctly, European Air War had, for me, the ebst bailing out animation I can remember in a WW2 sim.
As you hit bail, the canopy popped (as it does now (although some should slide )), and then you had a first person point of view, as you tumbled away from the plane.
Basically what you had was a camera that tumbled through the air adn then the canopy finally opened and you parachuted to earth.
Now, would it be possible to do something like this?
I'm thinking that, as the pilot bails, instead of the POV showing the pilot in his free-fall animation, the camera could instead be set at maximum zoom and spin way from the plane as it zooms back out?
This may give the effect of the pilot falling away from the plane?
I'm trying to imagine how it could be made, but basically the result should have the pilot hit the bail button, then the camera tumbles through the air until finally the canopy opens.
Guys, you have made some amazing mods so-far, I have to ask if this is possible?
Cheers, MP
