Probably none of the guns on nightfighters used tracers, only those watchamacallit incendiaries that give a flash when they hit something. The only thing that would give their position up were muzzle flashes of their guns.

And i wonder whether it is possible to remove tracers from Nightfighters in IL-2?
I should be possible, but that would require a weapons modification and that is forbidden here at AAA. (For good reason.)
The night fighter used tracer.
In the Ju88G-1 landed in England was found almost all the bullets with tracer.
The night-tracer were less bright
"The belted loading-order of these guns was: one Armour-Piercing/Incendiary, two H.E./Incendiary-
Tracer, and two Incendiary/Tracer (night-trace or "glimmer"). A Zeiss Revi 16.D gun-sight is used in
conjunction with the forward-firing armament."
"The rearward firing armament consists of a single Rheinmetall-Borsig MG 131 of 13-mm. calibre in a
manually operate dorsal ring. 235 rounds were carried for this gun in a tank designed for 500, the
belted loading order being: one A.P./Tracer (night trace) and one H.E./Incendiary (night trace)."
They could create special versions of the guns, only including them in new slot planes
so its not a WM change on original Il2 guns
But for me special nightfighters are a stupid idea, because the AI has "radar" eyes in all directions.
You never could suprise them
or do i wrong ?
The less bright tracer was used for not blind the pilot since his eyes were adapted to the dark and a bright tracer would have blinded him.
