bad crossfire

Hi all.

I setup my sistem in crossfire with two ATI HD2900XT, but when i am playing il2, i dont see any diference at perfomance, the frame rate is similar with crossfire as without crossfire. This happend me in all games, it

what kind of drivers you ruinning get the latest first then go into the CCC menu to configure correctly.

8.11 is out I beleave.

i use the 8.10 and the CCC crossfire section is activate Sad

turn off z buffering and DXT formates, Tripple buffering. run at X2 AA and AF. Catylist AI make sure is set at Standard it take big hits on FPS when enabled.

i did that, and performance increase thanks, but the performance is the same with a single graphic card Sad, otherwise, i tink performance will be better with crossfire. Do you know if il2 is incopatible with crossfire?

eable crossfire then check on DXT and turn on check on for tripple buffering do not turn on Zbit buffering that will greatly reduce your FPS

make sure to check and see if standard for Catylist is still standard sometimes windows Vista moves it for itself best performance setings.

I do know that X2900 are not that great I have 2 3650s and the game runs at 60 FPS on average.

Im leaning more towards NVIDA now that I see they are out performing Open GL with ATI.

Look this, is estrange that the second graphics card show named in the CCC as "Disabled Adapter".

ok I see that it states Disabled adapter; thats not what it should say. It should say linked adapter so you have a problem with your set up check to make sure its seated correctly in the mother board.

Also if thats not working, change card sides switch them around.

I think you may need a link bridge for that card too, not sure?


also place them in singel and see if there working individualy

And get the latest drivers for both OS's 8.11
