Hi I usually do not fly German planes much but downloaded this beauty the other day.
Installed with out any problems and
TOTALLY LOVE IT
It might just convert me to night flying.

Cheers Kirby

Hi Checkyersix,

Although a beta you've made a great job of the 219. I'm a big fan of nightfighter flying and love the radar mod you've made. Would it be possible to put this radar mod on other planes likke the BF-110 G4, mosquito mk VI, Beaufighter mk X and A20G?

Never had a radar.

Better to have a new slot proper night fighting version, like NF Mk.II for example.

Agreed, just thought having it as a temporary add on to the current mossie would be a nice addition untill a dedicated plane was released. All I would like to know is if this radar system could be added to at least one of the allied planes.

No FM/DM/WM edits are allowed on stock planes so i'm afraid we'll have to wait until someone models it for a new slot.

I've uploaded some more turret-radar planes in the Beta section:

viewtopic.php?t=10546

These are the Bf-110G-4, Beaufighter Mk. 21, and F4U-1C (as F4U-5N).

Please note you must download Ranwers' antennae mod for the Bf-110G-4 first.

(The link is inoperative)

Since this does not change FM, WM, or DM, I don't think AAA will have a problem with it, since they didn't have one with the He-219 either.

Definitely possible. I'm just waiting on approval from AAA over whether this mod is OK for online play.
