Whaou !!!! Mind-blowing !!
That's the first place I'm going to bomb......
Wonderful! It will look excellent in flames!
Fantastic piece of work - really looking forward to the new version. One observation rather than a critism - the texture you have used for the Palace of Westmister is more representative of the building as it is today (i.e. post late 20th C cleaning). In the 1940s with 90 years of coal smoke fuel London pea soopers, I am pretty sure the House of Parliament were pretty dirty. I don't have any photographic evidence to hand but I remember the building in the early 80s (pre-sand blasting) covered in black soot.
Same goes for all the prominent London land marks - the white limestone of St Paul's in particular was filthy pre the cleaning work in the late 80s.
better and better indeed, and only "the" 2 weeks before release....just joking, take all the time you need Cannon old chap.
Your work is appreciated more then you can imagine :OO
Very nice - An absolute stunner! Tell me, you plan to have all the major London landmarks? Like that big dome'd building?
(Dome Depot)
Stunning work! Truly the missing link in the il-2 series! 8)
Warmwell is on the backburner for a fortnight whilst I finish some objects.
Phillip - I haven't run a full population of London yet, but I'll post pics when I do. Because the objects have a max draw view, they disappear when you're far away. So, if you're at 10,000ft you'll see the city textures and when you get lower the textures will be covered by buildings, following the same street patterns as the texture.
