Anomalies in the canopy of P51-B
#1

Hi all:

My buddy's got some screenies of anomalies. Here's a couple. This shows up in the P-51B and -C.

He's got, as I do, a Sapphire ATi card. I've gone over all his settings in the Catalyst Control Centre and can't find any differences to mine. These shots don't show up on my rig. A difference between his and mine is he's got a PCIe card while mine's still AGP (can't afford an upgrade yet!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great days all.

Hmm Confusedhock: ...if you won't find solution in il2 tech help sub forum, try this:

1. with graphic editor create a file Glass.tga of random size (128x128) will be ok and make the file transparent(enable alpha channel)

2. put the file into directory MODS/some_folder/3DO/Cockpit/P-51B
MODS/some_folder/3DO/Cockpit/P-51C

It's not a very good solution but i hope it will help. Good luck !

now there are no blotches on the P51 windscreens.

This is the best this community is about: great folks diving in to help stangers.

Thanks both of you. I found an answer in the tech section, as SHAVK advised.

When my buddy gets back from down south I'll have him try the things there and if that doesn't help I'll try your suggestion Maxisonfire.

Great days all.
