Is this doable gents? A mod that will let you say have a seperate stick settings profile for each plane.. or at least 3 different profiles.. The 190 , the P-51 and the Corsair all fly different.. it would e great if we could set a profile and then assign that profile to a given plane so that everytime we flew that plane it would automatically load those stick settings. It does it now ... sort of... with the skins... is that doable?

I think this is a very nice idea.
Also, while we're at it, make gun convergence plane specific also. I like 150m for Hurricanes, but 500m for the P-39 for example. Its annoying to switch every time.

Perhaps a way could be found to connect a certain segment of that file with a plane.. The concvergence idea is good too..
Look at the hotkeys mod... Whoda thunk it possible.. selectable externals... but whooops ther it is!!!
So .... I think that a lot more is possible than we think.... 6 months agot it was "not possible" to get smoke and shell casings coming from the gun ports.... but lo and behold.... we now have it.... so I thionk that a lot of this is in the suggesting. These are the kinds of mods we need...
I really really really appreciate the fact that here at least, the modders have concentrated on enhancing features than correcting any perceived error in FMs or DMs.... making the sim better... That's why this place AFAIC deserves MUCH RESPECT and all the Kudos they get because they single handedly held the IL2 community together and kept us from fragmenting off into oblivion by the quality of the work coming vrom here.... and the integrity of the modders here and the respect that they have and we all still share for the sim.

The only thing missing from it is a way to name the settings and save them.
If you could name the setting as a profile .. and then recall it it would be exactly what I am looking for. If the setting created included all the munitions settings (convergence, delay etc) and the stick settings, even if it was just the 3 main axii... X,Y & Z) .. I think that this mod can be the base platform for the mod I am thinking of.
You can do something like that with "IL-2 Stick Sensitivity Tool" found at Mission4Today (new rules, can't put an outside link here). It's not an in-game utility though, so you have to create your profiles and load them before starting the game. But each profile can have different input sensitivity settings for whichever plane you'll be flying.
Yeah you can do that with IL2 manager as well.. but you cant change it on the fly.
