Link fixed............. and BTW.. this is only if you have FFB selected in the sim. If you don't have FFB selected then when you alt tab out nothing happnens to the basic X,Y,Z stick forces.. but if you have FFB turned on in the sim (where you get gunshake, the hit shake, ground shake etc....) you loose all stick forces together, X,Y,Z gunshake, hit shake... everything the stick behaves like a stick with no spring tension whatsoever.. when you come back.

I lost my FFB a while back and still don't know why. This has happened in the past and the only way that seemed to work is if I reinstall the drivers, I-am-not going to do this every say five hours of play time rudikuls

I use a MSFFB stick as well, don't like em but they last. Hitting Alt& Tab does the same for me as well. Used a Logikrap FFB and it holds it's FFB when you alt tab out.

The MSFFB has done this to me all the way back to original IL2. Usually a respawn will get your forces back, however it is not always a convenient to do so. I also usually lose TS if I speak to someone while the game is loading another annoying quirk.

I wish I could help Bearcat. I never any luck with FFB sticks. I only owned two and neither of them ever lasted more than three months. I even had a MSFFB Pro and it failed. I can say that all the other MS sticks I owned back in th day worked very well. I gave them to family member when I got a new one. Now I have joined the Saitek bandwagon and absolutly love my X52. I also have a ST290 Pro that is a few years old and still works perfectly.

I hope you find a solution soon. That sounds like really lousey problem, especially if you play online. Sad
