G'day All,
Sorry if this has come up before, I would like to ask if there is a possibility if having fire extinguishers installed in the Beaufighters? I was reading an excellent book about Raynor Barber, an Aussie FLTLT in the New Guinea campaign on Beau's. It was mentioned about using fire extinguishers to, well, extinguish an engine fire on his Beau. I was thinking, "Hang on, there isn't a fire extinguisher fitted on the Beau's in the game, I wonder why?"
So, I am curious as to whether this minor oversight could be rectified?
This also leads me into thinking about any other aircraft that might have missed out on a vital life preserving component for their aircraft which were "in real life" fitted with fire extinguishers.
Having said that, is it also possible for bombers to self extinguish fuselage fires by AI aircrew???
Ok, last one, someone suggested to me that a good idea for a mod would be for extra ammo for gunner positions to simulate transfering ammo from one gunner possition to another as was the case in real life air combat situations. I know this last bit should be in a seperate post but I am thinking as I am typing whilst being burdened with a fish bowl brain.....
