Howdy all

Has anyone figured out, or even looked into being able to sit in the enemy's cockpit from recorded traks?

I ask, because I've lost a few M8's over the years to real life deaths. And I'd like to take tracks recorded from myself, and others to get into the deceased aircraft, so I can make footage from their view, to pass on to Family, and other grievers of the departed.

Plus beyond that, it would be a cool tool for all movie makers to get access to shots they were not able to before from a single recording.

Thanks

Another trick would be to get the AI pilots moving head into your pit in the recording, for film making.

hey mate, not intending to hijack thread but two awesome features would be:

(apart from what you're asking)

1. icon removal

2. skin switch

(I've been modifying skins from updated templates, and want to update the older skin, of course those trks were made by me, piloted by me)

I think that you can change skins...not sure about icons....and pretty sure that you can't look from enemy's cockpit....

Waffen-79:

Since the skins in the tracks are taken from the files currently in the game, you can, if you can remember the names of the skins used in the game, simply rename the skins you use now to the name you used when the track was made.

Example: In the track you made the skin for the plane was named "XYZ_ABC". You've since updated the skin and now call it "XYZ_ABCD". Take the new skin and copy it as "ABC_XYZ" and you should see the new skin in the old track.

Great days all.

Yeh allot of things were that way up to a couple of years ago.

I'd be willing to bet anything goes in this game if the right minds are set to it.

Thus the reason to ask, hoping one of those minds, takes a liking to the idea. 8)

+1 To remove icon of tracks and change skins
+1 To add static cameras to tracks
