Please can anyone tell me which smoke MOD is the best?

That mostly comes down to personal preference. Try a couple out and see what you like.

There are two kinds of good smoke: realistic and cinematic smoke. The differences
Realistic: Smoke like to see in gun cam footage like it should have appeared in RL.
Cinematic: Dark, dense long trails, like action movies.

You must decide what you want. My favourites are,
realistic: ULTIMATE SMOKE by Holygrail and Potenz
cinematic: 3rdeyes smokemod.

And I advice to realistic smokes. Hope I could help.

Me I think that ULTIMATE SMOKE is breathtaking, it really adds to the depth of the game. I love it!

Goblin's smoke MOD is a close second IMO. It's really a matter of personal preferences...

for me best still the combination Intermitent fire (Potenz&Holygrail) with Goblin smoke, no fps kill.
