I apologize if this topic has been hashed over before. Gunsight is on the outside left of cockpit canopy. I have found discussion on this, but no solution. All my other 109's are fine. Is there a solution?

just go to yor mod folder and put a - before folder BF-109-E_MIRROR_MOD. It will look like:
-BF-109-E_MIRROR_MOD
It worked for me. had same issue than you. good luck

Sorry about the wrong forum. Thanks, peybolman, your fix has done the trick, but it presents another question. What has the mirror mod to do with messing up the position of the gunsight?
