Editing Question

I've tried to have a read through all the material on modelling but I'm stuck. I wish to edit one mesh and remove an aerial (in this case the G6 tail section mesh, I want to remove the direction finding aerial). I can convert it to .3ds and delete it, BUT i can not get it back in game.

What is involved in this process?

Thank you for that post, it was handy!

I now have a new issue. When I have a model with a single subgroup, I have no issue importing it into game with it's correct texture. BUT soon as I add another sub-group, the materials no longer are exported and hence the mesh does work ingame.

Any step I might of missed? I am VERY new to 3D Studio Max Tongue
