So I thought this might be an interesting topic to bring up, as most of the members he apparently rely on translators.
So say what your Native Language is, if you know any other languages or if you are learning any...I just wonder because I see many members who live in for example USA but speak Spanish etc on the forums. This topic will also help us all understand the language barriers that exist here and just remind us that not everyone speaks English.
I'll start.
My native Language is English and I am currently learning German.
My native language is French, but I can speak English fluently no problem, I'd still consider on learning either Japanese or Russian, but I'm also getting interested in learning Arabic too.
Most of the members don't use translators, but my native language is English. Period

A few words in Russian and Arabic, a little Japanese, a few words in German, some Italian, and took some Latin back in High-School.
Just wanted to answer this topic and not meaning to bragg about it.
Anyway, the only languages I really have mastered are French and English, the rest was somewhat few expressions, except Japanese and Italian, found them easier than most. Wouldn't mind learning more Arabic though.
No, I'm no Muslim and not Arab either, just find Arab culture interesting to learn about, and I don't mean what the medias usually tell us about the Arab world. It looks more like propaganda in my humble opinion.
Sorry didn't meant to get political nor religious, but I find the Middle-East fascinating to learn about these days.
Well all very interesting and I'm surprised at how many different languages you all know or are learning.
Australia being a Multi-Cultural Country I am surprised that we do not learn that many languages.
