I think that this kind of hardware shouls be close to what SOW will demand
Man that first pic looks so realistic.....I'll have to keep an eye out for it online
Thx for sharing
is ther ea single player campagn or me must play multi......
I haven't seen any cockpit shots yet ... gets me wondering what the pilots interface looks like...
There is a singleplayer but the game needs internet connection to login at verification server.
That first shot is brilliant
Meh. I have a Phenom II x3 720BE 2.8ghz and 4GB of RAM, but my GPU is an old x1650PRO. I doubt it could run it, even with my low screen res (1280x1024) and no filtrations. :?
Looks fantastic, though.
Frankly I don't care about the specs, if you MUST be connected at all times I just wont buy it. The DRM requires you to be connected at all times, even if you aren't playing online. It's my understanding that the game will quit working if your internet connection drops off which mine does at least once or twice a day during peak usage times (and I've got a 20Mb connection). I don't live in Europe so if there must be a dedicated server running that they control exclusively you can count on losing connectivity at times. There are many MMORPG's out there that are free to play with micro-payments for extra content or for nominal monthly payments, and of the few that I have played; Project Torque, Eve etc.. I have seen connectivity issues because the entire world is playing on the servers. You just have to know that there will be people who will be pissed because the connection was lost and with it their game crashed while playing "offline". I won't support this trend of making the consumers of flight sims into virtual renters, it will pave the way for no-one ever being able to "own" the game they bought and the ability to play even when they aren't connected.
On the other hand those of us who still want to fly canvas covered kites will be looking forward to the WW1 mod for Il-2.
