Small update:
Andalucian cities have basic buildings. Few airfields done. Can't find info about real airfields at the SCW, so i placed them with help of google earth. I will make about 10-15 airfields. I leave rest for the real SCW experts.
More to come...

I have made the big cities. Villages need to populate and we have a generic map ready! as always. it is impossible to make them look real, bcause lack of right object. You now russian and german buildings in Spain lol!

This might be a good time to ask if anyone cares to make Spanish objects? - say some dozen or so different types of Spanish looking louses - white or pastel colored, with flat roofs or else very low sloping roofs with Roman style tiles ...

Even a dozen or 2 of such houses would go a long way to introducing some Iberian atmosphere into a Spain map. No need for bulls or flamenco dancers, just some houses and maybe a church/monastery or two or a castle/alcabaza and that would be all that's needed.

There are going to be more Spanish maps coming out and besides, such houses would also be great for Italy and north Africa as well.

Depends a bit - most low flying missions would be able to see the difference I would think - anything uner 1000m above ground level maybe ... certainly under 500m. And I know for one that I hardly ever fly higher than that.

Besides, it's more fun for map-makers and the mental image in your own mind is important too.

It's like with all the small and often seemingly insignificant changes to cowlings and filters on planes or the different shape of a cockpit. They are greeted with enthusiasm here by many, though you can just as easily wonder who notices the changes when in the midst of a dog fight ...

All little changes add up in the end to a more agreeable, if not somewhat more realistic sim ...

I've got those all downloaded and a ton of other flags as well ... the flag I used on the map isn't meant to be a Nationalist flag as in being the official state flag. It is rather the flag of an infantry regiment, from Granada I think, though that is irrelevant ...

I choose that particular flag simply because it looks so neat and colorful.
