Can someone explain why in some cases my aircraft decides to explode, either while taking off, after landing, or after bail out, often accompanied by a very loud engine sound and a blurred or black screen? This might happen without warning while everythings running fine, and its quite annoying.
Thanks in advance and sorry if its been asked before.
During takeoff, do you touch your wing to the ground, as sometimes, that will start a fuel tank fire, which will untimately explode
Sounds like a glitch to me...

and when my bro shooted at my right wing, left engine fell off. i flew ju-52
I have also see this twice.....no enemy, no AAA but Plane explodes....
Ha ha... my squad mate D13th_TakeOff used to explode in mid air without any sign of warning... we made a lot of jokes on him... we didn't elucidate how that happened... he just switched to UI1.11 mod pack and the problem gone away...
could be some mod conflict.
A similar thing happened in my squadron during an online mission and this was well before the mods were available. We were returning from combat, I was flying wing on the CO. Our aircraft were either F4U-1's (Corsair I) or -1A's. We were cruising along and all of a sudden his outer wing panels departed from his aircraft. The result was disintegration of the airframe and I don't think he was able to bail out. At first we thought he might have activated the wing fold mechanism in flight, but he said he had not touched any keys or buttons nor had he taken any combat damage.
