Great work here guys, thank you a lot!

About G2 Trop., in 1942 DB605A could reach 1.42 ATA? I was thinking about a new version, 1.3 ATA, 2600 RPM.

Hey Veltro,

First of all thanks for creating the original trop mods in the first place. As for the 1.3ATA version, I've discussed this with Karaya. We were unsure about implementing it since the 1.3ATA standard was not consistent (being lifted and re-invoked many times until 1.42 was standard in mid 43). It is a possibility though and if there is sufficient demand for it, we may include it Smile

Great addition, will use a lot. Just one question, in the file are some textures, some of which dont seem to be needed, like the british pilot texture, can you tell me why they are there?

Great work again, thanks

@ Badjohnny: Thanks for pointing out, somehow I've included some extra textures. I'll remove them for the next version

Those files are used for other aircraft mods made by CharlieChap. I had compiled them a while ago:

http://files.filefront.com/MODS+Charlie ... einfo.html

And the same textures folder is included.

Since then, quite a few of these mods have been updated and posted here, such as the CANTS Z 1007 and the Tiger Moth by Ranwers, and now the tropicalized 109s G-2/4/6.

No thanks are needed, thank Ranwers. Big Grin

Take care that you could only add a new java and of course a new FM. So it should be a very lite addition in MB. I'm defintely on it in SEOW because of a more balanced game, at least for 1942.

About G6 ecc. ecc. i like a lot DB605A for the first G6. This is a good way to work guys. We need first of all "classic aviation" aircrafts.

Was there any performance penalty for the trop filters with the original aircraft?

Great work! Can't wait to test these birds tomorrow! No more wierd non-trop 109s for Afrika and Sicilly! Big Grin

Anto, just a question - the G4 has a G2 body and G6 wings, to put it short? I'm asking so I don't mess the panel lines for this bird!

Great Work guys ! :-)

I did make a version of the java for these, (which I presume that you used as you credited me)...although the real credit must go to Veltro and Gitano here also.... my contribution was only to integrate what they had already done with Hun in the Suns AHS (All Holes Solved) java.

Its wonderful how people build upon each others work ....
It produces the best results ultimately doesn't it :-)

The G4, G4 trop and G6 trop do indeed use G6 wings. All use the G2 rear fuselage except I have added parts to make the fixed tailwheel and correct radio configuration for late 42/early 43.

No performance penalty. It was only the RAF aircraf that suffered with trop filters as it increased the drag profile.
