Is there any chance to let say "complete" the already in game P-38L and P-38L_Late with the correct denomination?
The P-38L is supposed to be the P-38L-1-LO .
The P-38L_Late is supposed to be the P-38L-5-LO .

You can do this mod easily yourself in about 1 minute.
MODS/STD/i18n/plane_ru.properties

Open in notepad.
Scroll down till you see:

P-38L P-38L, 1944
P-38L_Late P-38L Late, 1944

Change to:

P-38L P-38L-1-LO, 1944
P-38L_Late P-38L-5-LO, 1944

Save file and done!

Awesome gibbage!!! Please, pay attention to the small details like the windscreen wich was rounded instead flat. The cockpit interior was quite diferent too. It had an armour glass inside and a custom gunsight.

Keeping the names as they appear in the game ensures aircraft sub variants can be added without creating issues.
