I would simply pay $9.99 for this 4.09 update instead of calling it a patch... Tongue Big Grin :o just to give something back to all those guys who contributed...

Really interesting- thanks for posting the translation.

Looks like a really mixed bag- on the whole, good. But where will that leave mods I wonder?

The vid of the radar it looked like there was 6dof at work there.

The ability to take off abreast looks interesting as is the ability for planes to land at the same time (see last vid at the end).

And a MED map? Nice but wonder what the scope is. Sure it will be interesting no matter 8)

~200x200km - its generally the same as the MTO map in the 4.09Beta, but corrected and improved:

OH man! what can I say but THANK you AGGAIN Oleg!
Increidible, not onlly he delivers stuff we could onlly dream of, but he even makes it compatible with mods... INCREDIBLE!

He clearlly states thte the cnfiguration is the same as 4.09b, so I woudl say we migth need to figure out how to integarte everithing aggain, but ithere is no specific new encriptation to prevent this...

Am-I the only one wondering how the SM.79 and Fokker planes ended up being released by Daidalos ? ...

Still sounds good though. Finally a Reggianne fighter !

Cheers

What is so strange about this? Authors of the models are also the team members (or at least in co-operation with the team).

Yes, this is 100% true. To clarify in detail:

Viikate is the author of Fokker D.XXI and its cockpit
Maraz and his team + Caspar are the authors of SM.79 and its cockpit
Bf-110 nightfighter model author is Viikate, original programmer of the radar is LesniHu

All of them are Daidalos Team members. Full credits to each model will be in final 4.09 Readme

Or is there someone else claiming this as his own work?

If you are referring to some old WIP models of the above listed planes, they have been leaked out during their implementation for 4.09 in spring 2009 and as far as I know integrated in several mod addon packs without the permission of their individual owners/authors.

It is sad that some people do not respect the work of others and release it unfinished and without their agreement. This the least they could do.

Those video's look very promising, especially the radar
