Well I took a break from my first project and went completely mad over the Thai term break and made all of these maps.
Have learned alot especially airfields rivers etc.

I am interested in the China/Viet Nam maps but the other projects are available for anyone who may be interested

China , Viet Nam maps

1) China and Formosa 100 pixals scale made recently
2) China Yunnan 100 pixals scale made recently
3) China Shanghai and NanKing 75 pixals scale made some time ago
4) China North Vietnam 100 pixals scale made recently
5) South Vietnam 100 pixals scale made recently

I also happily accepted Agracier's Hankow map.

Other maps available to anyone who may be interested in them

1) Ceylon and Southern India 100 pixals scale made recently
2) Timor and surrounding islands 75 pixals scale made recently There are some wicked looking volcanoes.
3) Borneo in the works not quite finished.

I'll organize a 4shared.com download site and put the maps on there after I have had some requests for them this week end.

I have to alter some maps due to the infinity thing.

Some have had small islands just off the coast that I could not see in microdem and infinity looks horrible

On other maps infinity looks good. Timor is fine regarding infinity.

Will touch those up on Mymap-c.

These maps have just been made no textures, no roads no nothing.

What this is about is that you need someone to do the texturing and populating, right?

I have been thinking a lot about moving into map making, but has thus far not dared to take the plunge, as the whole microdem-thing seems to be SOO complicated. (Yes, I've read the tutorials... )

This could perhaps be a opportunity for a chap like me to get started? (I've done a heck of a lot of mission building so I know FMB like a charm.)

These maps have been made as per Kevin P's tutorials.

It's up to you as they say here in Thailand what you want to do with them. Play around, learn on them or get serious with them.

I am uploading some tonight will have a link up for some of them

I still have to ajust some maps of Mymap_c.

I am quite interested in China/Formosa, China North Vietnam, and China Shainghai and Nangking but if you are interested in any of them let me know.

It does take some time to upload them.

Yes the first job you would have to do is go around and check the coasts with fill even after I have used the coast align tool.

They are very very basic maps.

I really enjoyed the Microdem side of map making. The most difficult thing for me at first was getting all of the sizes of each map right.

These maps just have 2 rgb's 7 land and 31 coast/ocean regarding textures the rest is up to you to fill in.

I'll up load South Viet Nam tonight after I have fixed one end of infinity on Mymap_c

I am uploading Timor for Niel as I write. They do take some time to upload.

I used the map folder Timor and all.ini Timor Timor/load.ini

If anyone wants the grey pictures and colour pictures of any specific map an example to make a smaller map I'll upload those upon request.

Ceylon and Southern India is fine regarding infinity that map will be up in a day or so.
I made this map because I remember some people were interested in Ceylon.

They do take some time to upload.

You do have to download seperately within the folder.

Uploading South Viet Nam as I write over a couple of days or so most maps will be up for all.

In regards to the infinity issue rechecking South_VietNam there were no islands causing a horrible look that is on another map that I have to ajust South_Vietnam is just land mass and ocean as infinity.

I say just don't fly there.

I alays use to hate the original Burma map with the infinity problem it had.
