I recently downloaded the spitfire XIV aircraft but now when I try to start IL2, the program closes at 60% of its loading time.

Did you Download > AC_INSTALLER_v3_8.exe

If not, do so, install it and see if it fixes the problem, OK?

And I am not sure what to choose

Pick the option that matches the mod package you installed.

I have the same error. Re-installed sound mods and AC installer numerous times to no avail...


Is the AC installer an actual program you open and run, or something you just install and that's it? If it's the former, where does it install itself?

The AC installer, installs a buttons file.

What did you do, Hoon, just before the 60% crashes started?

I installed the two Ki-21's from this site. Ran A/C installer too. Tried deleting all of the files that were installed but no luck...

Where are these Ki-21s?

Did they come with self-installer, or did you have to edit the air.ini?

You can't just delete the folder for them in the MODS folder...you have to remove the entries in air.ini also.
