This 45 mission campaign covers the USMC operation to move up the Slot during the late spring, summer, and early fall of 1943.

[This Campaign contains Tour I and II of the VMF-213 Hellhawks Campaigns. However, several encounters in those mission have been altered. Several missions have been added in Hawaii and Espiritu Santos Islands. This campaign also contains Tour III VMF-123 at Munda.]

{This Campaign used diaries from VMF-123 and VMF-213, and the official war diary of VMF-213 to recreate actual events as close as possible. However, there are a few missions added to Tour Three that are possible, but not historical. Either way all actions of Operation Toenails follows through historically. If you don't know much about this Operation to take Munda, you will learn alot from this Campaign and all of the text provided.}

Ahhh, been waiting for this one! (I was halfway thru tour II, when IL2 had a bad habit of CTD'ing, but i think i've solved that problem, so i'm going to start from Tour I and play it all the way thru.)

Now, the only question is, should i wait until 4.09 and U.I 1.2 is released, or should i just play it in a hurry before either is released?

Either way, i'm going to have a great time with this campaign-set.

Just one point of criticism:
The skin for the F4F-4 you use in the campaign shows only 4 cal. 0.50 instead 6.

Nevertheless this is a great campaign again!
