One question

Hi

I have got one question. I really dont like that back icons like Mission over, gun jammed, engine-fire.......... Is there some mod which removes or limits this
icons ? Thansk for your advices.

In your root IL-2 folder there is a file called Config.ini
open in notepad,scroll down to the [game] header

changing a =0 to =1 will enable a setting
to disable the messages change>

NoSubtitles=0 to a 1
NoSubtitles=1

the same goes for all other settings in that category.

Thanks, but i dont mean chatter subtitles i mean that which shows you positions of flaps,power,engine,gears raised,airbreakes extended or mission over or succesful,enemy plane destroyed.........etc.

... or you can edit just about any on screen message

file is : hud_log_ru.properties , right column is what gets displayed ( so edit it to meet your desires)

\MODS\STD\i18n\hud_log_ru.properties

if not present ... create new txt file and past this in it .... later on rename it as : hud_log_ru.properties

Or you could change NoHudLog to 1. This will remove all of the messages in blue like engine overheat and enemy aircraft destroyed.
