I just saw the list of mods out on ui 1.2 and was not really that happy with it. I was hoping that we'd see a few of Slow's 46 jets out in some form. Anybody else out there who is thinking the same thing?

Mate, the new addon has not been launched yet and you are already critizing it?
At least, wait to see it working. We can be sure that other addons will come later this one with new improvements and planes...

This thread gets my vote for the most useless post ever.
Anything that makes the game bug in any way was done away with. That means untested alpha's, mods still in the beta test phase and chop job frankenplanes.

I am just commenting on what I know. The mod list that was just posted was official, right? The only reason I will download this is the impressive map mods section. the KTO map i have had troubles installing, and the b29 alley map seems impressive also. I have nothing against the mods included. They all seem pretty good, but the aircraft are somewhat repedetive (i think I spelled that wrong). I apologise if I have this all wrong, but it didn't seem that good.

First i must say that it is an great effort to make this UI for the game and it is simpley fantastic news 
I read the list but there is no Hurricane 1A and 2A and there is no bf Me 109 E3 versons and also there is no new object in FMB.
I hope for Hurricane A`s and bf 109 E3 in this UI and parhaps the new cockpit of Hs 129?

I agree with redarrows. The UI is probably one of the best ideas on this site. I am somewhat surprized that they did not include the f-84 in the list.

they did however say there would be one or two suprises....question is....what are they ? IF they are not on that preview list

I'm surprised I don't see the new (Released Six weeks ago) Canon English Channel map. Of course, that one was very tricky to install correctly, for many folks.
EDIT: I understand now why it is not included; difficult to install for many, and a huge download in itself. If included, it would make the 1.2 unmanageable. The map was also released After the UI 1.2 went into beta testing.

I voted 'No' because UI 1.2 will not support 4.09m, which is an Official Patch from Oleg Maddox.

Slow's jets: They are way off from being completed give it half a year around
F84 Thunderjet: Not all of the F84 package is completed, first 2 planes only released on SAS. Whether it will get released on AAA is yet to be known.
Cannons Channel Map: Yes it's finished and it's a great map, but it's buggy. The map itself and the running of it on people's computers due to various computer settings and il2 settings.
Further Comments: UI1.2 was packaged together about 2 months ago or so and then gone into beta testing etc so that it all works, no conflicts. Anything new in the last few months would not of gone into it. F86 and Mig15 postponed by request of PeterD to UI1.3 as well.

I, for one am more than happy with UI 1.2... Four D type Mustangs, three B-25's, and a whole slew of 109's... How on earth can you ask for anything more in it, especially things that aren't finished? On 4.09, good things will come, but you have to wait... This was intended for 4.08 and then 4.09 came out, so just wait.

I have nothing against UI... or the fact that it's free (good mod is way better than most expansions) all that i'm saying is that the plane section was a little bland. nothing really new in it. Aviar: simple solution: use 4.08
