Hello Istvan,

while I think this is a very good idea to make new high quality skins for old and outdated ground objects in IL-2, I feel I should give you a bit of constructive criticism here.

Since I have created most of Slovakia building textures you are using in your mod, I must say these are very specific textures linked to Slovak architecture of the time of WW2. It looks very strange to me to fly on other maps and see Slovakia buldings or their clones everywhere. From London to Stalingrad.

I suggest spending some more time on this mod and creating unique textures for each map or group of maps according to their region.

IF I will have more time I'm definitely gonna get some architecture books and start from scratch. If you dont like it you should not use it.

If you see the same buildings on many maps thats not my fault, for example what about the fact that Crimea buildings were used both on Balaton and Sandsoftime maps Wink

Very nicely done. Such a relief to see those garish Russian boxes given a lick of paint. Thanks for sharing it, it must have been a huge effort to produce this.

Istvan, I gave you my honest feedback because I know you have artistic skills to create good textures from the scratch. You don't need architecture books. We all have limited free time, but if I haven't sit in front of my computers for many hours about 3 years ago to make the original Slovakia building textures, you would have no resource today to clone the textures for other buildings in your mod (Russian, Finnish, etc.).

I created lot of textures for this pack from scratch. Honestly I like the rest of the buildings as they are, few errors needs to be fixed. Demanding from somebody who have already spent a lot of time for free with a limited usage game mod is...dunno...strange. This is just a hobby, I spend as much time with it as I like and I can.

I also dislike your comment very much about the swithching of attitudes...mainly because of 300-400 skins, almost a dozen campaign and mission packs, etc Wink
