Philip.ed's New Intermittent Smoke Tracer MOD V1

Hi chaps

After numerous request from members for releasing an intermittent smoke tracer effect based on HG's and Potenz's mod, I made this one which is a tweaked version for all other calibre guns. Thanks goes out to HG for help tweaking this and getting it working. He really is a great guy! :cheers:

Before trying and using this mod , please , you have to disable or remove " vas_Gray_curving_Smoketrail " by Stuka40

Drop this mod folder in to your game main " MODS " folder and that's all or you can load mod by using mod loading application JSGME .

EDIT: for even better results, use this with AKD's mod as well. Eexhatons mod is also a must as it give the tracers a more realistic look: viewtopic.php?t=23563 and so is HG and Potenz's .50's http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,679.0.html AKD's info is below I know some of you wanted to have more tracer options.

This mod applies the tracer-smoke tecture to the Mk108s, Hispanos and many more:

Also included is a combined version with HG&P ricochets and .50 cal 2D smoke in case you don't have that mod. To get the most out of this mod, use with SAS Weapons Classes mod found here:

This will get even more guns working with the new tracer smoke, including the new B-25s. Just be sure to disable the class file (1FCB0C568C3E1D84) mentioned in the first post of this thread inside the SAS Weapons Classes mod folder, or you will have the wonky MG151 tracer lights back.

Known issues with HSFX/UP:
-.303 tracers do not work (with a few exceptions, e.g. Mosquito FBs), even with the Spitfire_303-Tracers mod installed.
-several other rifle-caliber MGs do not work, including USSR, some IJN (Claude and Val), IJA, Avia, Dutch Fokker, IAR80, some US.
-Russian heavy (12.7mm) MGs do not work.
-IAR80a cannon does not work.
-MG17 has tracer smoke only every other tracer.
