ki 45 toryu

after many thoughts,i made up my mind:
1st type:nose mounted ho 203 with standard drum(15 rounds) and 2 upward firing ho5 loaded at 200 rounds each
2nd:nose mounted ho 203 with big drum (25)and 1 ho3 in the ventral position loaded at 200 rounds
i think its more equilibrated like that...
ill post pics of the very finished texture next week!!

Hi kaishide,

eventually, non standard loadouts can be activated via java code, e. g. 3D mesh of cannons firing upwards can be made visible only when proper loadout is selected.

hi gitano,
i dont know anything about this side of the modding process and nothing about integration in the game ...
all that i can deal with is the work in max described in the modelling bible:
1. D0_00 Model with texture.
2. D1_00 and D2_00.
3. D0_01 - D0_05.
4. D1_01 - D1_05.
5. D2_01 - D2_05.
6. Caps_00 - Caps_02.
7. Internals (D4 parts).
8. NULL parts added to all iterations of D0, D1, and D2, as well as caps
9.cockpit
when this will be finished,i ll surely need some help to see my favourite bird in pacific skies....
do you know people who would be interested working on the toryu?

to create the ho3 cannon,is it possible to take an existant model and change the characteristics(impact power, rate of fire, muzzle velocity)or must it be created from scratch???

Well, it depends on what type of personality you have.

Honestly, my personal opinion is to just use the current cannon model and edit its properties. A cannon is a cannon. As long as there are a few inches of barrel sticking out of the hole in the fuselage, then I personally don't care. If having a new cannon model from scratch means waiting an additional month, then screw it.

However, this is your mod. So if you are an Uber-Duber perfectionist ... then go for it. If you really don't want to make a new cannon model from scratch ... then don't. Whatever you make people will love and fly.

Personally I don't think anyone will even notice the accuracy of the cannon model anyway (except maybe JapanCat, LOL) So do what you think is right.

There is no wrong decision here. So whatever you decide will be fine.

I don't think you understand what he is asking, and your response is silly considering he has already added the 3D parts for the cannon to his model (and I'm sure it didn't take him a month to make those tiny parts.)

Definitely include a Ho-3 with accurate properties.
