This is what I know.

The graphics card may be able to run higher resolutions than 1680x1050, but the monitors may not be able to handle it. What could occurr is the monitor will go blank, and some may reset and then come back to it's native resolutions. Those that go blank, one would have to reboot their rig, then the native resolution for the monitor will come back.

A good monitor is one that when you go attempt to buy one, check to ensure that the maximum is more than 1680x1050, with a speed of 1 to 2 nano secounds. Most, or the normal speed of LCD Monitors is 5ns (Nano secounds).

Please fill free anyone out there to rebuff this, or say...."voowe", you don't know what the heck you are talking about. Because,... People, I am still learning.

Thanks!
