Excellent work by you guys to set AAS up so fast!!! A big, shiny medal for that one, not least to you DM! And me, being an optimistic type of a guy, think that the generous inclusion of sections on the Forum for SAS and UP can be seen as a small but perhaps important step towards that unification I believe many of us long for. :)

Just one thing: I hope that the new Spray and Pray (i.e. Open Forum) is to be kept under a bit stricter supervision. The last period on the old AAA there was a lot of silliness there, kids showing off their assault rifles etc. Lets try and keep it clean.

Poltava, that is our intentions. By the looks of things, we can't see us ever having our own mod-pack again, and from careful debate we don't think it will be needed. So what better but to support the modding community from here, with the intention of building a great resource for the Il-2 users. Careful colaition with sites is our intention. And if they don't do the same to us? That is their choice, but we are starting afresh and want no bitching from other sites here we've learned a lot from the past and hope to make up for past mistakes. By the sounds of things at SAS, lots of users are happy with this change and so am I. But really, DM is the main man here. He's paid for this site out of his own pocket, so we all owe him a virtual drink!
