I originaly made this mod for myself, but after awhile i desided to put it out to all of you guys. This mod gets rid of the annoying/ridiculous dust trail on takeoff, and landing.

To Install : Extract files to your Mods folder, I believe if you have HSFX you can enable and disable with the switcher exe

Outstanding mod ! ! No more "dust bowls" on grass fields on takeoffs !

Here's a before and after.

The Fighter Group I belong to has 3 Fighter Squadrons.

Now imagine one squadron taking off while the other two wait on the sides for their turn and the "dust to clear".

This will make getting up in the air together much quicker.

Would it be too cheeky to ask how I would set this mod as an option under JGSME? I tried simply importing the folder and it has put it in the menu but the mod is not actually doing anything.

I appreciate the work and effort your mod required, but I feel that I must point out that the dusty takeoffs were a real issue in the second world war, and into korea, pilots often stating that they were almost taking off blind. I also found a few photos of, admittedly modern, but still prop aicraft taking off from dirt runways:

I was next to a P-47 as it made a turn on the taxiway, and it kicked up 1 hell of a dust cloud.
