As far as i know, all lithuanians are proud of ANBO-VIII, one of most advanced pre-war light bombers, so, lots of people would appreciate it.

Quite easy to make, something like R-10, but... better =]





Also, lithuanian pilots are dreaming about something like other ANBOs (III, IV, 41) and Dobi-III...

I would like to see (and fly :wink: ) the A-26. It was a verry good attack and bombing aircarft.

The late war version with 8 MG-Nose and 6 Mg wings the bottom turret remouved + Rocket projectiles would be fun!

Stirling

The Stirling, designed prior to the Lancaster and Halifax, was an enormous aircraft, with four engines and a crew of seven. Throughout its service its design limitations (chiefly its wings being too short for the large size of the aircraft) resulted in poor performance and a high loss rate.



Manchester

The twin-engine Manchester was not a successful aircraft, being under-powered by two very unreliable engines. But in re-developed form with the addition of two further improved engines and a longer wingspan it evolved into the famous Lancaster bomber.

This is probably true. There are many WIP projects right now. Quite often, people quit a project or set it aside for months or more and return to it. Just to finish it from start to end with no interruption takes a few months to create a detailed aeroplane for IL-2 ( depending on how much free time the person has ).

Remember all the talk about the B-26 Martin Marauder WIP? This popular plane has been in posts for years. How far WIP is it now?

Obviously, we need a better system to keep track of WIP projects. Here is another of many needs for unification.

Until then, some of this will be trial and error.
