I already tried the demo of VSF. It looks very good. Water, landscape etc, especially if you crash in the water. Good choice for this engine! Big Grin

Indeed, that's the beauty of these kind of simulation engines, they must be very accurate, very efficient and very flexible as you can/will see. Otherwise they (devs) wouldn't manage to hit big contracts with the military, goverments, big companies, etc...

Dispite the initial negativity, you'll see quality improving all the way until release date.

I would like to show you all what VSF technology really is.
Its more then just a game engine, VSF technology is configerd as a training tool
For many big firms and goverments, this link below is simsquared,
Simsquared is the place that takes orders for configering VSF technology
Into training sims for big firms and goverments, have a look around simsquared site
And you will see just how much VSF technology is, its a lot more then we
Will be useing it for in our WW1 sim, when you do go to simsquared site
Click on ( links ) then on the left click on ( users ) and go down and see who uses VSF
Technology for their training sims.
The HUD in VSF is the same HUD that the US trains F16 pilots on.

I would like to share with you all a e-mail I just got this days morning from the developer
As there is many e-mails that are done every day from the developer and myself.

Hi John, today we start reconfiguring the AI as you described it to us for CK, the AI for
CK will be different and far more advanced then in VSF, this well take time I
Don't know if the new AI will make it into beta 3 but for sure you will start to
See it in beta 4, here is what will be for the CK AI.

1. Full AI dogfight using cannons, bombs, allowing selection of targets by side ( axis, allied ).
2. Full autonomous take off + combat + landing using selected airfield by side (axis, allied ).
3. Autonomous AI versus AI selecting targets and runways by side (axis, allied ).
4. Autonomous AI air to ground selection by side (axis, allied ).
5. Autonomous AI ground to air selection by side (axis, allied ).
6. Autonomous AI ground to ground fight selection by side (axis, allied ).

Cool Big Grin

High-res textures and antialiasing should make it awesome.

Its not just for ships, here is a link to the VSF site and you will see a lot more
There then just ships as add-on's to VSF, http://www.hangsim.com/vsf/planes.php
Also here is a link to another sim built with VSF technology as its base.
http://www.space-shuttle-mission.com/index.html
Just to give you some Idea of the scope that VSF technology has.
