I had something like that with a B29. There I was flying along, when stuff started falling off my desk in a mad (and crude) simulation of lemmings. So naturally I left the joystick and began picking up odds and ends. When I looked back at the monitor my plane was seconds from nosing in. Aaargh!

Sadly I didn't pull up enough. Something to do with big weighty aerop[lanes travelling too fast. The plane hit the ground and broke up with the cockpit section bouncing off the landscape...
