a normal group of four tanks seems to move from 'in-line' when on roads to 'diamond' formation when going across country
I have tried groups of 15 tanks but they only went in-line
of course it was always the case that a vehicle column uses more computer resources than the same vehicles each in their own individual waypoints...but then they will be harder to get to move a together and look like a column...because of their differing speeds etc.
so....if we make up these extra long columns of vehicles they will obviously affect the fps a bit...i doubt if the longer trains would have so much effect though
just travelling along isn't a problem...but when they meet a road block and start shifting and backing..then they consume the fps
