It gives you minimal improvement over the rear view. You can see upwards behind you, but you can't see straight behind you as you can in, for example, the FW190. I really don't understand why you must insist on arguing over a small improvement and let all the things like mirrors and gunsights go.

I didn't mention the gunsites or mirrors because this is not that thread in case you didn't notice. To put your mind at ease, I DID talk about the very same thing in the mirror thread. While I do appreciate and like the work of it all, I don't like the fact that things like that can be used where they shoudln't be, giving one an unfair advantage. I didn't mention it in the gunsite thread because it seems that no one really gives a crap and they just want want want, gimme gimme gimme. I'm losing hope in this place.
