You're right, it may resemble more a CZ.1007bis, aircraft I know very well, but it never saw action as a torpedo bomber, and was used on Eastern and English fronts ONLY as a recon plane.SM.79 was widely used in all roles until 1941, then mostly as a torpedo bomber, slowly replaced as normal bomber by CZ.1007s and SM.84s.
If an Italian bomber is needed, SM.79 could be the first choice. I made this 'hack' skin for my friend cortomaltese's 'Operation Corkscrew' campaign, downloadable from Mission4Today, as Il-4 had an almost similar FM, and now I've added a third engine as a joke.
