I know someone asked about balloons in a post here..but I cannot find it...

..still no success at finding the skin to wipe out that german cross

BUT......if you have my damage mod installed....open com/maddox/il2/objects ..and open the technics.ini with Notepad...
right near the bottom are the balloons...

copy this line from the observation balloons

MeshBalloonSummer 3do/aeronautics/observballoon/live.sim

and use it to replace the MeshBalloonSummer line with the four heights of Barrage balloon above

this changes the balloon to the observation type...
