Adding Zeppelins, a possibility?

But about the weak engines, that isn't really neccesary, because of the enormous air resistance of the zeppelin. 8)

Example: the Hindenburg had 4 (yes, FOUR) 1200 HP daimler-benz engines installed, and yet, it couldn't go faster than about 120 Km/h (as fast as you are allowed to drive on the highway). :?

You just need to model the FM to those standarts if anyone is even to build a Hindenburg or something like it, because I suck a 3D moddeling. Cry
Yes i am aware of this - but that's because the zeppelins also had a huge mass - even if it was made up mostly of hydrogen it was still enormous and carried a lot of inertia. I reckon that a balloon FM would not model such massive weight (or actually mass) and using a plane FM like the TB3 would again involve all sorts of issues with different ways a heavier than air craft behaves compared to a dirigible. Zepps behaved more like a boat - or rather a submarine, submerged in air - than like a conventional plane. So starting with a balloon and making it neutral buoyant then adding a small engine to it would be the logical first step IMO - and if that works increase size and weight as much as we need for a zepp (or as far the game will let us)...

Hypothetically, of course.
