If you fly with the throttle firewalled all you'll see is the disc , but when working throttle and prop pitch there is some effect from the blades. Granted not the "Strobe effect" seen on cine, but it is there. Perhaps theres a way to enhance it, whether by a mod or by use of an effects editor.

Of course you could keep stopping and starting the engine to get that movie shot.
