I remember mucking about with this last year when I was doing a Berlin map for dedicated night missions. Yuo can make a new landlight file "landlight_nacht" for example, and change the perameters. Then change the map load.ini to refer to the new one instead. By using this and setting the map declination to 10 or less, you can get some truly frightening No Moon Tonight scenarios. Makes just getting around a white knuckle experience!
One drawback: although the landscape and sky become darker, the airfield plates remain at default. This means you can't go too far. A good thing top have in the inventory though. Probably will be useful for simulating weak daylight on winter maps too. :wink:
