This definitely is starting to look more like a genuilne P-47 pit. I think you hit the nail on the head with the Tempest throttle, and the cockpit flooring, etc. as well as the repositioned components really add to the authenticity.
If I would be permitted to share a thought or two:
Have a look at the F4F Wildcat dash in-game. In the center of the panel is a large "hole"; it almost looks like a missing gauge or something. It si filled with vague, non-descript "wiring and cabling" Could the large dark area in the P-47 panel not be filled with some similar garphic? I think this would be most convincing if done correctly. (Please check out my links in my post of a day or two ago)
