Poncho,
I myself have never heard of shadowgravy. But I know that what you and Taurus and others are doing is a dream come true for me and alot of other Jugnutz.
JHAT did make an attempt to improve the pit way back when, before the release of Pacific Fighters
as I recall, when Luthier hinted that it might be possible to include a new jug pit in PF. This came to nothing, and even when the "sound mod" came out, I don't think any of us realized what might be achieved in the way of improvements.
Let's just say that when this pit is released, it will be very difficult for me to remember that last time I got a present that meant as much to me. I drive the Jug about 75% of the time, it remains my NUMBER ONE favorite aircraft of all time. The original pit was, well, the pits. I do not hold anything against JHAT or his team, if memory serves, they were working against a very difficult schedule.
But I truly check this thread every day ( as does Diablo 310th , I know) for any news from you guys. If ever there is a way to remove the "one-shot-engine-kill" phenomenon the Jug (and alot of other A/C) suffer from, I will consider the P-47 in FB to be as close to perfect as it can be thanks to your efforts.
Thanks.
