Deacon, that is normal. Your version is set in files.sfs file and is OK that the game doesn't allow you to join a 4.09 server while using 408 (even if you are using all the archives). That is something the game was programmed from the start.

As for 18p and 20p

18p as I said is coming with 4.071m patch and is not included anymore in 4.08m and 20p I think is just a rename of a smaller 20 archive because it doesn't have the new default skins.
