Nice mod and I like it! Drop tank color was supposed to match the color of the underside of USN/USMC aircraft, so aircraft with a white belly would use white drop tanks, aircraft painted in the new, overall glossy sea blue scheme would use glossy sea blue drop tanks. That was the idea and most aircraft used matching tanks, but the reality of war is that you use what is available, so it was not unheard of to see a glossy sea blue F6F-5 or F4U-1D with a white centerline drop tank.
